This has been a long, yet beneficial week. My presentation got pushed back, I didn’t have too much work that was due, and I got my branding project back for my graphics back (92%!).
The pivotal moment that helped turn my lazy week into a productive week was receiving that branding project back. I remembered how exciting it is to create something and put your own work into the world; hence, why I am back here, editing my website.
I’ll admit it, I have been lazy. I started this site and put endless hours of work into it to make it something I am proud of. However, after I put my first blog post up, I stopped. I hit a creative slump and I could not decide what to do about it. Do I continue and just put random stuff online? Do I stop the site altogether? Is this even something I want to be doing?
I decided that putting something creative out to the world helps distract me from from all the craziness in life while allowing me to showcase what I am doing and have to offer. Hopefully this time around, I will actually be successful and stick with this.
